Job Description

Designing, building, and integrating robotic systems including motor control, sensor integration, and actuator mechanisms for inDispense Kiosks; Working heavily with embedded systems for robotic control and automation; Participating in a small team environment to implement any modifications to support a fast-growing business; Performing motion planning, machine vision, sensor fusion, and electromechanical system design; Developing complex robotic and electromechanical systems; Performing testing and validation to improve detection reliability prior to deployment; Working with JavaScript for implementation within the machine application; Refining the detection pipeline to improve robustness across varying machine configurations and camera conditions; Using YOLO-based object detection to identify and localize carts in camera images as port of the inspection workflow; Programming robotic control, stepper motors, servos, sensors, webcams, and assorted hardware and electronics.
Job Requirements:
Masters Degree in Computer Science, Robotics or a related field and experience, training or coursework involving machine learning, machine vision, neural networks, object detection, pattern matching, image processing, camera calibration, and distortion correction, and; Experience using UI design, Python, React.js, Node.js, MacOS, Git, Github, YOLOV8, CVAT, and OpenCV.
