We work with humanoid robots, quadruped robots, service robots, and other intelligent robotic platforms, supporting product demonstrations, testing, deployment, and automation solutions for customers across North America. We are looking for a hands-on Robot Operator to support daily robot operations, testing, demonstrations, and customer deployments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology and physical hardware, learns quickly, and is comfortable operating robots in both lab and customer-facing environments. Responsibilities Operate humanoid robots, quadruped robots, service robots, and other robotic platforms for testing, demonstrations, and deployments. Perform robot startup, shutdown, charging, calibration, configuration, and routine operational checks. Prepare robots and related equipment for customer demonstrations, trade shows, events, and internal testing. Safely control robots during live demonstrations and customer-facing activities. Support on-site customer deployments and assist with robot setup and operation. Conduct routine functional testing and identify hardware, software, connectivity, or operational issues. Troubleshoot basic technical problems and escalate more complex issues to the engineering team. Assist engineers with robot testing, data collection, and reproduction of field issues. Maintain robots, controllers, chargers, accessories, and related equipment in clean and working condition. Document operating procedures, test results, equipment status, and reported issues. Help pack, transport, set up, and organize robotic equipment as needed. Communicate professionally with customers and explain basic robot functions during demonstrations when required. Qualifications Strong interest in robotics, AI, automation, or emerging technology. Comfortable working hands-on with computers, electronics, and physical hardware. Ability to quickly learn new robotic platforms, software interfaces, and operating procedures. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safe equipment operation. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues. Reliable, organized, and able to work independently after training. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment. Must be able to work on-site in Irvine, CA. Must be able to lift, move, and set up robotic equipment as needed. Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for customer demonstrations or deployments when required. Preferred Qualifications Experience in any of the following is a plus, but not required: Robotics or automation equipment Drones, RC vehicles, or remote-controlled systems Electronics or smart hardware Technical support or field service Gaming controllers or simulation systems Python, Linux, ROS, or ROS 2 Customer demonstrations, trade shows, or technical product presentations What We Offer Hands-on experience working with humanoid and service robots.
