Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Robot Teleoperator to join our innovative manufacturing team in San Francisco. In this role, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting robotic systems to ensure seamless production processes. Your expertise in robotics, industrial controls, and automation will drive efficiency and quality across manufacturing operations. Duties Operate and control industrial robotic systems, including Fanuc and other robotic platforms, ensuring precise execution of manufacturing tasks. Monitor robot performance through human-machine interface (HMI) systems, making real-time adjustments to optimize operations. Troubleshoot and repair PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and industrial electrical components to minimize downtime. Collaborate with engineering teams to perform root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprints to support maintenance and upgrades of robotic systems. Configure and program HMI interfaces for efficient human-machine interactions, enhancing operator usability. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements through robotics automation and industrial controls. Skills Extensive experience with Fanuc robotic systems and industrial robotic controls. Strong knowledge of robotics engineering, including robot programming, tool setup, and calibration. Proficiency in PLC programming languages such as Ladder Logic (LD), troubleshooting PLC systems, and installing PLC hardware. Familiarity with industrial networks, distributed control systems (DCS), and industrial electrical systems. Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical schematics, and blueprints accurately. Practical experience practicing in an industrial or manufacturing engineering role within a high-volume environment. Knowledge of vision inspection systems, tooling, machining processes, SolidWorks CAD software, and automation troubleshooting techniques. Skilled in root cause analysis, industrial equipment troubleshooting, and implementing continuous improvement strategies aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
