Role :

We are hiring a Robotics and Engineering Program Instructor to lead small-group, hands-on STEAM lessons for students ages 5-17. This is a great part-time opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching, building things, and working with students. No full-time teaching license required. This role is best suited to someone who loves the physical, hands-on side of engineering. Assembling robots, wiring circuits, troubleshooting builds, in addition to programming. Do:

Teach hands-on lessons in coding, robotics, electronics, 3D design, and creative technology Deliver our provided curriculum, adapted for different age groups and skill levels Guide students through building and assembling physical projects, not just writing code Foster an inclusive and engaging environment that encourages student participation and excitement Provide individualized support and encouragement to help students complete weekly projects Inspire students through energetic, enthusiastic, and creative instruction Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the team to ensure a positive experience for all Occasionally help document student projects for social media What You will

Need:

Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Technical Education, or a related field Genuine enjoyment of hands-on building, assembly, and troubleshooting, not coding alone Know or Willingness to learn 3D printers, soldering equipment, and laser cutters Comfort working with coding languages like Arduino, Scratch, and Python Comfort working with children ages 5-17 Comfort working with and engaging children from ages 5 to 17 Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills Creative, flexible, and eager to learn and grow as part of a team Tech-savvy and passionate about STEM education Reliable transportation Must be 18+ and able to pass a background check
