Automation Engineer (Robotics)

Full-Time Reports To:
Engineering Manager The Automation Engineer (Robotics) supports Triton manufacturing operations by designing, programming, implementing, and maintaining robotic and automated systems. Robotics Programming & Integration Program and troubleshoot industrial robots including FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa, KUKA, and Universal Robots. Develop robotic welding, material handling, machine tending, and palletizing applications. Support robotic cell installations and commissioning. PLC & Controls Engineering Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems. Develop and maintain electrical schematics and controls documentation. Automation Process Development Identify opportunities to automate manual manufacturing processes. Design and implement solutions that improve throughput, quality, and safety. Production Support Provide daily support for robotic and automated equipment. Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions. Continuous Improvement Reduce scrap, labor costs, and downtime through automation. Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Project Management Manage automation projects from concept through implementation. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with OSHA and
ANSI/RIA
safety standards. Required Skills and Qualifications Bachelor degree preferred. Minimum 3 years of industrial robotics experience. FANUC and PLC programming experience preferred. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
