Paint Shop Automation Engineer Location:
Georgetown, KY Our client is seeking a Robot Programmer with experience in robotic paint shop applications. The candidate will be responsible for online and offline robot programming, conducting trials, optimizing process parameters, performing quality evaluations, and supporting manufacturing operations.
Required Skills:
Experience programming Fanuc, Yaskawa, or Kawasaki robots Automated robotic paint shop experience (Primer, Base, Clear, Sealer, UBC) Offline programming and simulation experience (DELMIA, CATIA, SolidWorks, Inventor) PLC Programming knowledge (Toyopuc, Allen Bradley, Omron) Ability to perform reach studies and cycle time analysis Experience with quality tools such as Elcometer, Wave-Scan, and X-Rite Strong troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills Associate degree (2-year technical degree) or equivalent experience
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Robotics/Automation certifications Automotive manufacturing experience NIT01
Pay:
$40.00 - $43.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
