Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Robot Engineer / Programmer for a long-term project in Brookville, OH. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with FANUC robots and prior experience working with GM Robot Standards (GRS). Experience with FANUC iRVision is highly preferred. This is a fully onsite contract opportunity expected to last at least one year.
Key Responsibilities:
Program, configure, and troubleshoot FANUC robotic systems Support robotic integration, commissioning, and production startup activities Develop and optimize robot programs based on GM Robot Standards (GRS) Work closely with automation, controls, and manufacturing teams onsite Perform debugging, testing, and system validation for robotic applications Support production issues and implement continuous improvement initiatives Ensure robotic systems meet quality, safety, and operational standards
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong hands-on experience with FANUC robots and programming Prior experience working with GM Robot Standards (GRS) Experience in automotive manufacturing and automation environments Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for robotic systems Ability to work independently at customer sites
Preferred Skills:
Experience with FANUC iRVision systems Experience with robotic integration and automation projects for OEM/Tier-1 environments
