Linux Multithreading Full Job Description Our client, a leading innovator in autonomous vehicle technology, is seeking a dedicated Senior Autonomous Vehicle Perception Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Autonomous Vehicle Perception Engineer, you will be an integral part of the engineering department supporting the perception and sensor integration teams.

Dallas, Texas What's the Job? Lead the design, development, and deployment of perception algorithms for LiDAR, radar, camera, and sensor fusion applications across autonomous platforms. Architect real-time C++ processing pipelines for object detection, classification, tracking, and sensor fusion in embedded environments. Define sensor selection criteria, integration standards, and validation processes for perception systems. Drive resolution of complex perception failures through root cause analysis and algorithm refinement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning, controls, and systems engineers to ensure perception outputs align with broader autonomy architecture. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 4-7 years of experience developing perception systems for autonomous vehicles or robotics platforms. Expert proficiency in C++ (C++11 or newer) with experience building production-grade, multithreaded Linux applications. Proven experience with LiDAR point cloud processing, automotive radar processing, image processing, or sensor fusion and object tracking. Experience with Robot Operating System (ROS or ROS2) and DDS or publish-subscribe messaging architectures. What's in it for me?
