Mechatronics & Robotics Technician Job Description As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will learn to combine electronic, mechanical, computer, and automation engineering skills at the workplace. This role involves on-the-job learning where you will work with complex high-performance manufacturing systems, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing systems to maintain process efficiency. Responsibilities Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. Ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard. Provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement. Adhere to safety regulations and policies. Work collaboratively with journey workers at various high automation and robotics facilities. Complete work based on technical documents and instructions. Communicate effectively and work well in a team. Coordinate activities with upstream and downstream operations partners. Be mentored by senior technicians to grow in your role. Essential Skills High School Diploma. 1+ years of PC software experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Vocational/technical training or an associate degree or 1+ years of Reliability Maintenance Engineering experience. Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items. Knowledge of mathematics. Experience reading and interpreting measurements. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2+ years of military experience. Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. Experience troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment and/or conveyor systems Experience implementing safety standards. Experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
