Job Description
Job Description Insight Global is looking to hire 30 Robotics Technicians in San Francisco, CA. This individual will support the maintenance and repair of a large fleet of robotic systems used for AI and data collection initiatives. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, controllers, sensors, wiring, actuators, motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical components. The technician will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, and troubleshooting using diagnostic equipment while documenting repairs and maintenance activities. This role partners closely with engineering and operations teams to improve system reliability and maintain fleet performance. Travel may be required to support robot deployments at various locations. Compensation ranges from $40

https://insightglobal.com/workforce-privacy-policy/. Skills and Requirements- 2+ years of experience troubleshooting and repairing electrical and mechanical equipment
- Experience working on robotics, automation systems, or other actuated machinery
- Ability to diagnose electrical faults in motors, controllers, sensors, wiring, and power systems
- Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, or PLCs
- Prior experience working on robotic fleets
- Military maintenance background (aviation, helicopter, electronics, or mechanical systems)
- Experience with e-bikes, elevators/escalators, automated equipment, or industrial machinery
- Relevant certifications such as IPC, ASE, NATE, or similar
- Experience working in a startup or research environment
