Seminet is a global leader in manufacturing automation with experience in multiple industries and a focus on semiconductor reticle handling equipment. Seminet seeks to fill multiple openings to support expansion.
Job Description :
The Robot Technician will provide in-house set up and field installation and service support to all customers for Seminet semiconductor automation equipment.
Responsibilities :
  • Conduct in-house equipment set up and testing of complex automated handling equipment featuring recipe driven, multi-axis robots.
  • Perform periodic Preventive and Corrective Maintenance work on sub systems including robots.
  • Check and adjust 6 axis robot teach points and other digital sensor inputs/outputs.
  • Maintain equipment specifications to achieve uptime/MTTR/MTBF target.
  • Perform SW&HW retrofit/upgrades.
  • Perform routine backups of all computer systems.
  • Work with factory engineers to perform rapid corrective maintenance as required.
  • Provide constructive and data-driven feedback to factory engineering to drive continuous improvement.
  • Travel as needed to support equipment installations including site preparation verification and final hand-off
  • Supervisory experience a plus
Experience & Qualifications:
  • Experience with 6 axis Robotics a must( KUKA a plus)
  • Robot programming Experience a plus
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers, Allen-Bradley a plus
  • Strong communication skills and ability to troubleshoot complex electronics to achieve high uptime for customers.
  • Experience working in semiconductor cleanrooms a plus
  • Ability to manage scheduling and support of customers.
  • Training/experience with test equipment.
  • Ability to travel for 1-2+ wks at a time
Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
