Robot Cell Setup / Operator Quincy, IL 62301 $21.39 - $25.15 an hour - Full-time $21.39 - $25.15 an hour - Full-time Titan Wheel is seeking a Robot Cell Setup / Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, adjusting, and troubleshooting robotic welding equipment while ensuring products meet quality and production standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to safety and quality. Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust robotic welding cells and robotic handling equipment. Make equipment and process adjustments to maintain products within blueprint and quality specifications. Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine preventive maintenance. Load and unload components and monitor robotic welding operations. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final quality inspections using gauges and measuring equipment. Complete required production, quality, and inspection documentation. Maintain welding consumables, fixtures, tooling, equipment, and work areas. Follow all safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing specifications. Ability to use inspection gauges, measuring devices, and quality-check equipment. Experience operating, setting up, or troubleshooting manufacturing equipment preferred. Robotic welding experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to maintain production rates while meeting quality standards. Willingness to learn robotic welding systems, equipment adjustments, and preventive maintenance procedures. Must successfully complete applicable welding and inspection testing.
