Robot Technician

Job Title:

Robot Technician 2nd shift Starting pay: $32 an hour Job Summary Reporting to the Shift Maintenance Supervisor and supported by the Robotics Engineer, the Robotic Technician Level I ensures proper operation and repair of robotic automation in a foundry/casting environment. Responsibility Provide general ABB robot troubleshooting. Adjust robot positions to meet quality requirements. Replace robot cabling as needed. Perform Preventative maintenance on robot and controller. Perform Preventative maintenance on EOAT's including testing function. Identify opportunities to improve uptime and reduce costs through understanding downtime and implementation of preventative solutions for long term success. Observe and practices all applicable lockout/tagout requirements during all activities. Understands robotic and cell safety. Other duties as assigned. Academic/Educational Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 1 years' Robotic Tech experience in a manufacturing setting. Required Skills/Experience Prior robot programming experience is required. Must be self-motivated with an ability to problem-solve and troubleshoot. Must be able to read and understand work instructions. Ability to communicate with all levels within plant. Must possess mechanical, electrical and computer.
