We're Hiring! Ohio Steel Industries is seeking a dependable and safety-focused Robotic Weld Technician to join our Manufacturing division. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring robotic welding equipment, ensuring weld quality, identifying issues, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Why You'll Love Working With Us In addition to competitive pay and comprehensive benefits, we offer: Weekly pay Group insurance benefits Profit-sharing plan Opportunities for continued skills development What You'll Do Operate and monitor robotic welding equipment according to established procedures and production requirements Load and unload parts, fixtures, and materials into robotic welding equipment Set up and adjust equipment as needed to maintain production and weld quality Inspect completed welds and products to ensure they meet quality standards Perform basic troubleshooting and make routine adjustments to equipment within established guidelines Maintain accurate production and quality records as required Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of equipment and work areas Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and quality standards Assist with continuous improvement efforts and identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and productivity Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding production, quality, and equipment concerns Perform other duties as assigned Shift Schedule The regularly scheduled hours are Monday- Thursday, 6:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. This schedule is subject to change based on business needs. Qualified candidates should have:

High school diploma or GED equivalent Previous manufacturing, welding, or robotic welding experience preferred Experience operating or working with Kobalt or robotic welding equipment preferred Programming experience with Yaskawa/Universal Robots preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic mechanical and mathematical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn new equipment, processes, and skills Commitment to following all safety procedures and PPE requirements Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday. Candidates must be able to perform the physical requirements of a manufacturing environment, including lifting materials and working around machinery, welding equipment, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
