Job Description
Recruiting Solutions is currently looking for a Robotic Technician . The Robotic Technician is responsible for robotic troubleshooting, repair, touch-up programming, preventive maintenance, and emergency repairs. The technician will support automated production equipment, identify and resolve equipment issues, assist with programming and integration, and help improve equipment reliability, quality, and production efficiency. This is a Direct Hire position!
Duties:
Maintain robotic systems in working order, including setup, programming, installation, and debugging. Install, program, troubleshoot, and repair programmable controllers, robot controllers, conveyors, and end-of-arm tooling. Develop and maintain standard work procedures for assigned equipment. Maintain accurate service records for robotic equipment and automated production systems. Modify computer-controlled robot movements as needed. Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on robotic systems and components. Respond to emergency robotic system repairs and equipment failures as required. Perform robot program changes involving logic, software, and path alterations through online or offline programming. Provide informal training and technical support to facility personnel regarding robotic systems. Communicate equipment issues and resolutions to management and technical leadership. Program and troubleshoot inputs and outputs. Troubleshoot process problems and monitor equipment to identify potential failures. Assist with integration, startup, and debugging of plant-floor equipment. Support the analysis and resolution of welding-related equipment failures. Install and configure appropriate hardware and software options. Perform additional duties and projects as assigned by the Technical Leader.Requirments:
Associate degree with a minimum of 6 months of robotic equipment troubleshooting and setup experience, OR 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree. Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic mechanical concepts. Servo motor experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Computer literacy. Ability to communicate effectively and provide leadership in a manufacturing environment.
