Mechatronics Technician Location:
Spartanburg, South Carolina Work Arrangement:

Second and third shift Position Overview Reliance One is hiring a Mechatronics Technician for a manufacturing company in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This hands-on position is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated manufacturing equipment, including electromechanical systems, programmable logic controllers, vision systems, and multi-axis robotics. The ideal candidate will bring a safety-first mindset and strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills. Responsibilities Demonstrate and promote safe work practices at all times. Troubleshoot and maintain custom electromechanical equipment and automated work cells. Diagnose issues involving vision systems and multi-axis robotic equipment. Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs with varying levels of complexity. Diagnose and repair electrical and electronic circuits. Troubleshoot adjustable-speed AC and DC drives and motors. Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documentation. Initiate and complete technical activities that support new or improved production processes. Perform preventive maintenance on plant systems and production equipment. Document maintenance activities and communicate equipment concerns effectively. Work with employees and leaders throughout the organization to resolve technical issues and support production goals. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Two-year technical degree required. One to three years of related experience preferred. Demonstrated industrial or manufacturing experience. Experience troubleshooting electromechanical equipment, PLCs, robotics, and automated systems. Working knowledge of AC and DC drives and motors. Electrical aptitude and general computer proficiency. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate and work effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Ability to work second or third shift. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk regularly throughout the shift. Frequent use of hands and arms to handle equipment, tools, and materials.
