Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Robot Technician to join our manufacturing engineering team. This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, and programming industrial robotic systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in robotics, industrial controls, and automation systems, with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to advanced manufacturing processes by supporting robotics engineering and industrial automation initiatives. Candidates with experience in Fanuc robots, PLC systems, and vision inspection systems will find this role particularly rewarding. Duties Requirements
  • Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2 years of experience troubleshooting and maintaining robotic systems
  • Experience with Kawasaki robots
  • Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, servo systems, sensors, and industrial controls
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Duties
  • The Robotics Technician is responsible for installing, programming, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing robotic systems and automated equipment used in manufacturing and production environments
  • This role supports production operations by ensuring robotic systems operate safely, efficiently, and reliably while minimizing downtime and improving overall equipment performance
  • Install, configure, and maintain industrial robots and automated equipment
  • Troubleshoot robotic, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and control system issues
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on robotic systems and related equipment
  • Diagnose equipment failures and implement corrective actions to restore operation
  • Program, modify, and optimize robot paths and sequences to improve efficiency and quality
  • Support equipment startups, commissioning activities, and production launches
  • Monitor robot performance and identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals
  • Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, and production teams to resolve equipment issues #
