Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Conveyor and Robotics Technician to join our dynamic team in Gainesville, VA. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting our state-of-the-art conveyor systems and robotic equipment. Responsibilities This role could be 1st 2nd or 3rd shift depending on the hiring needs but the shift will be the same. The manager will discuss it with candidates at the time of interview. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on conveyor systems and robotic machinery. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with equipment to minimize downtime. Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records of repairs. Maintain conveyor and robotic systems. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in conveyor and robotics technology. Some experience with PLC's is desired Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in a related field preferred. Proven experience as a technician in conveyor systems or robotics. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed. Familiarity with safety regulations and practices in an industrial setting. Some experience with PLC's is desired
