This position is responsible for keeping our recycling and processing equipment operating safely, reliably, and efficiently. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and is comfortable diagnosing problems, completing repairs, and working directly with production equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment. Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues affecting specialized solar recycling equipment. Respond quickly to equipment failures to minimize production downtime. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, inspections, and system checks. Read and interpret electrical diagrams, mechanical drawings, and equipment schematics. Troubleshoot motors, sensors, controls, conveyors, and other industrial components. Monitor processing lines and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, throughput, and efficiency. Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records. Work closely with production employees and management to resolve operational issues. Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe production facility. Follow all company safety procedures and equipment-handling requirements. Qualifications Demonstrated experience maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing industrial machinery. Strong hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities. Experience supporting manufacturing, recycling, automated processing, or high-throughput production lines. Ability to read schematics, use diagnostic equipment, and systematically isolate equipment failures. Ability to work independently and make effective decisions in real-world production conditions. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Must live locally, relocate to the Fort Myers area, or be able to commute reliably each day. What We Offer $80,000 annual base salary.
