Job Description
Solar Project Designer SunSource Power HI Honolulu, HI Job Details Full-time $72,091.67
- $90,000.
- Design residential solar PV, AC, and solar hot water systems
- Create permit-ready plan sets, electrical single-line diagrams, and structural layouts
- Generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for all projects
- Review site survey measurements, photos, and field notes for design accuracy
- Ensure compliance with NEC, local Hawaii codes, utility requirements, and company standards
- Coordinate with engineering, permitting, project management, and installation teams
- Optimize system layouts for production, aesthetics, and installation efficiency
- Support installation teams with troubleshooting and design clarification during construction
- Maintain organized project files, documentation, and revision tracking
- Assist with utility interconnection and permitting requirements as needed
- Identify opportunities to improve design accuracy and reduce installation issues.
Pay:
