Job Description

Sterling Consultants is seeking a full-time Survey Technician - Rodman, for our Fremont, CA office. This entry level position will assist the Party Chief for timely completion of assignments.
Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain field equipment. Transporting and setup of surveying equipment and instruments. Clear vegetation or debris as directed for surveying measurements. Assist the Party Chief in recording measurements by operating prism and level rods. Perform other tasks as assigned by the Project Manager and Group Manager.
Qualifications:
Work environment and physical demands of this position Work will primarily be in an outdoor setting with opportunities to be exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Work will be primarily working with fingers by picking, pinching, typing, and grasping often with repetitive motion. Must have visual acuity for viewing a computer screen, the ability to talk, hear and sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to carry, lift and push/pull up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Education/Qualifications:
Prerequisites for employment High School Diploma or GED Must possess a valid driver's license prior to employment.
