Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using various CAD software. This role requires a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to translate concepts into precise schematics. The CAD Technician will collaborate with land surveyors and engineers to ensure that all designs meet project specifications and industry standards.

•Compensation will be commensurate with experience Responsibilities Develop and prepare detailed 2D AutoCAD (preferably Civil 3D), Carlson Survey IntelliCAD, and other software. Collaborate with project teams to understand design requirements and specifications. Create plan worksheets, detail plans, land development plans, and other drafting documents for construction projects. Ensure accuracy and compliance with local government agencies and code regulations in all drawings produced. Revise design plans based on feedback from engineers, local government agencies, or clients while maintaining project timelines. Maintain organized records of all drawings and revisions for future reference. Skills Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Ability to create detailed schematics and drafting documents effectively. Familiarity with drafting techniques and plan preparations. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members. Problem-solving abilities to address design challenges efficiently.
