A Surveying or Mapping Technician works with surveyors and cartographers to gather data and create maps. Visits sites and records survey measurements and descriptive data. Selects data needed to create maps, including photos, aerial photos and satellite information, and helps produce and update maps that show boundaries or topographical information.

Job Description

Responsibilities:
Prepare boundary surveys, site plans and exhibits Process survey points, field notes and sketches Research deeds, plats and other property information Prior AutoCAD training preferred Prior surveying experience not necessary Must have valid drivers license and is subject to mandatory drug screening and background check.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
