Land Survey Technician

Northeast survey consultants is a full-service land surveying company supporting municipalities, design firms, the solar industry, and private landowners with the highest quality survey services, is looking for a survey technician to add to the team. The ideal candidate will have the following: Responsible for the familiarity and application of field survey operations, with knowledge of various types of surveys, field equipment and procedures used. Familiarity with data collection systems and the ability to read plans. Set up and operate GPS systems, total stations and data collection. Assist with records research, boundary, topographic and construction surveys. Travel to clients sites, overnight stays likely. Other related duties as assigned A high school diploma is required, a A.A.S. Degree is preferred. Valid US driver's license is required 2+ years of related experience preferred Proficiency with Microsoft office is preferred Has a strong knowledge of mathematics and trigonometry. Ability to excel in a team environment Ability and desire to meet client driven schedules Must be able to carry and lift heavy equipment over rough uneven terrain, and navigate in the field..
