Duties Help The Marine Surveyor:

Witnesses and verifies all technical tests and inspections required under U.S. Government contracts and American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), including demonstrions validing repairs and scheduled maintenance and readiness procedures for government reserve vessels. Evalues and synthesizes input from Ship Managers and General Agents regarding repair cost estimes, vessel repair specificions, and activion, operions, and lay-up cost projections. Defines and oversees work order scope and execution; assesses quality of services and deliverables; ensures technical compliance with contract requirements; and reviews and accepts contract deliverables. The ideal candide is a mid-level individual with experience in the management of ship operions, repair, conversion, and industrial projects for assigned ships or projects. Experience in advising operions, maintenance, and supply personnel on marine maintenance issues, including troubleshooting, repair stregies, and lifecycle support considerions.
