Job Description

Land Survey Technician Here at Hattesohl & Associates we're looking for an experienced and motivated individual to assist our team with performing land surveying services in north central Missouri. Some of this role's duties and responsibilities include; Records research and project preparation Operate, utilize and maintain all survey equipment, both GPS and conventional and work vehicle Locate, compute and stake property corners and establish control points Keep accurate, clear and informative field notes Communicates with the project manager throughout the duration of the project All other aspects of land surveying activities as directed by the crew chief This position is regularly scheduled for 40 hours a week, Mon-Fri but could include overtime as well. Qualifications:
Working knowledge of the USPLS system and survey practices Familiarity with GPS survey equipment (Trimble) Familiarity working with a total station Boundary, ALTA, Topographical, and construction layout experience PLS or LSIT (welcomed but not required) Any levels of CST certification (welcomed but not required) Microsoft suite (Excel, Word) A valid drivers license must be held and maintained Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50lbs Ability to walk long distances, up and down steep grades Ability and willingness to work outside year round Hattesohl & Associates Land Surveying, LLC We are an established company in north central Missouri with roots dating back to 2003.
