This Roadway Survey Technician opportunity is based in Asheville, NC, with nationwide travel and field-first work on grades, layouts, and topographic surveying. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Roadway Survey Technician position include: Minimum 5+ years of relevant surveying experience, with the ability to independently operate survey equipment Construction/roadway surveying experience preferred (crew leadership not required) Perform construction and roadway surveying, including grades, layouts, and topographic surveys Complete standard survey tasks and collect accurate field data Support both field and office survey activities Use Carlson and Trimble Business Center; CAD experience is a plus Travel approximately 50-60% nationwide, including overnight travel Work extended hours during major project startups when needed
Salary:
$65,000 - $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
