A Surveying or Mapping Technician works with surveyors and cartographers to gather data and create maps. Visits sites and records survey measurements and descriptive data. Selects data needed to create maps, including photos, aerial photos and satellite information, and helps produce and update maps that show boundaries or topographical information.

Job Description
- Compensation for this role is $18-20/hr.
- This role requires travel across multiple states and is per diem eligible.
- What You'll Do Assist survey crews in the field with data collection and measurements Set up and maintain surveying equipment (GPS, total stations, levels) Drive stakes, mark boundaries, and support layout activities Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment Follow safety procedures and company standards Travel to job sites as needed What We're Looking For Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting, walking long distances, etc.
