A Surveying or Mapping Technician works with surveyors and cartographers to gather data and create maps. Visits sites and records survey measurements and descriptive data. Selects data needed to create maps, including photos, aerial photos and satellite information, and helps produce and update maps that show boundaries or topographical information.

Job Description
Job Description Produce maps, drawings, easement plats, and survey deliverables. Verify accuracy, completeness, and clarity of all CAD work prior to submission. Download, upload, and process data from Trimble and GPS equipment. Manage CAD drawing files for production, deliverables, and archiving. Prepare drawings for project managers, engineers, and staff. Coordinate with internal and external project stakeholders. Balance multiple assignments across several active projects.
