GPIis seeking a Survey CAD Technician for our Survey Department with at least 2 years of experience to work out of our Morris Plains, NJ office. Candidates must have civil engineering or survey CAD drafting experience and possess good verbal communication skills; work will include processing and importing field data into a CAD environment in the development of survey plans and documents. Work will be project-based and schedule-driven. The successful Technician candidate will work under the direction of a Project Surveyor. Responsibilities:
Assist with Terrestrial LiDAR collection and initial processing.

Prepare Existing Conditions Surveys using AutoDesk Civil3D and MicroStation software.

Perform 3D modeling and data extraction for Civil Engineering and Surveying Applications.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 Years of experience using Autodesk Civil3D, Bentley OpenRoads/OpenSite Designer, or equivalent software.

High school or equivalent education required.3D modeling software experience is favorable.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite programs is favorable.

Experience with civil/site projects is favorable.
