Land Surveying / Civil Engineering A growing, technology-driven engineering and surveying firm is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join its survey team based primarily out of the Wall, NJ office. This is an excellent opportunity for a drafting professional who enjoys working on a wide variety of survey projects while collaborating closely with experienced Survey Project Managers and field crews. The company has a strong backlog of work throughout New Jersey and is continuing to expand its survey operations. The team utilizes modern equipment and workflows including Civil 3D, Leica robotic total stations, Carlson data collectors, UAV technology, and photogrammetry processing software. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse and technically interesting projects in a collaborative, growth-oriented environment. What You'll Be Doing Prepare survey drawings and deliverables using AutoCAD Civil 3D Process and draft boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, utility, and construction layout surveys Compile deed research, file maps, and supporting survey documentation Assist Survey Project Managers with calculations and project preparation Process field data collected from GPS, robotic total stations, and UAV/drone operations Generate existing conditions plans, base maps, and survey exhibits Coordinate with field crews and internal engineering staff Support survey deliverables for public and private development projects Project Types

Land Title Surveys Boundary & Topographic Surveys Utility Surveys Construction Layout Support Wetland Location Surveys Subdivision & Site Development Projects Public Infrastructure Projects What They're Looking For 3+ years of survey drafting experience preferred Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D Understanding of land surveying terminology, workflows, and deliverables Ability to process and draft survey field data accurately Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment Preferred Experience Photogrammetry and drone data processing experience Pix4D experience or exposure Familiarity with Leica and Carlson survey equipment/workflows Experience supporting boundary and deed plotting work Understanding of NJ surveying standards and practices Compensation & Benefits $33/hr - $45/hr DOE Overtime opportunities Stable pipeline of survey and engineering projects Modern equipment and technology Collaborative team environment with experienced survey leadership Long-term growth potential within the organization
