Job Summary This position entails performing design and plan production using existing municipal records and newly collected survey data to develop base maps, topographical maps, boundaries and right of way plans.
The ideal candidate must possess:
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop detailed plans based on survey data and schematics. Develop survey sketches, schematics, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, MicroStation, and other CAD software. Apply principles of trigonometry, geometry, algebra, and math to calculate land measurements and create accurate survey models. Key Responsibilities Requires a minimum of 5 years work experience using AutoCAD and/or MicroStation. Strong preference in finding someone with 10 plus years of work experience doing drafting and design work on survey related projects. Must have relevant work experience with Right of Way, Boundary and Topographic projects using Land Surveying Data. Experience with ODOT or other Departments of Transportation projects strongly preferred. Strong written and oral communication skills. A quick learner who can take initiative learn as they go and interact with a variety of people.
