Job Description

Cavanaugh's Surveying Services is a premier land surveying firm located in the heart of historic Doylestown, Pennsylvania. We offer a variety of services, including boundary surveys, sewer septic permit surveys, fence surveys, pool permit plans, civil engineering, and much more. During our 16 years in business, we have experienced steady, substantial growth and are looking for a qualified, dedicated survey drafting technician to join our team. We are a family-friendly business that provides an excellent incentive package in addition to a competitive pay structure.
APPLICANTS SHOULD BE LOCAL
Duties and Responsibilities Draft subdivision plats, boundary surveys, topographic surveys, and other related surveys. Reproduce diagrams and plan for divisional use in various types of media. Read and interpret schematics and blueprints. Complete detailed work with a high degree of accuracy. Effectively and consistently communicate the status of projects to direct management. Completes additional tasks as assigned. Job Requirements Previous work experience as a survey drafter or technician preferred but not required. Ability to read blueprints, subdivision plans, maps, site plans, deeds, legal documents, and field notes Strong work ethic and commitment to overall success of the business Excellent oral and written communication skills Benefits Flexible schedule Competitive pay based on experience Paid holidays and additional designated days off Vacation pay after one year Health Insurance 401
