Engineering Technician (Survey) The EADS Group in Johnstown, PA is seeking a full-time Entry-Level Engineering Technician - with an emphasis on Survey field work to join our multi-disciplined engineering firm! This role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys working outdoors, learning technical skills and supporting civil engineering and survey projects.

Engineering Technician - Survey In this full-time entry-level Survey Engineering Technician role, you will Assist with field surveys, construction stakeout, inspections, and data collection. Use survey instruments and related tools to gather accurate field information. Support municipal, utility and site survey projects. Assist engineering staff with project documents, reports, and technical data as needed. A qualified candidate will have strong math skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work comfortably outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. This role also requires the physical ability to stand, walk, and perform moderate lifting during field assignments, along with a willingness to learn and work closely with engineering and survey teams.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Post-secondary trade or technical school training; relevant experience may be considered. Previous survey, construction stakeout, or field inspection experience. Experience with survey instruments, as-built surveys, or utility stake out surveys Familiarity with engineering or survey software.
