A Surveying or Mapping Technician works with surveyors and cartographers to gather data and create maps. Visits sites and records survey measurements and descriptive data. Selects data needed to create maps, including photos, aerial photos and satellite information, and helps produce and update maps that show boundaries or topographical information.

We are now looking for a talented Assistant Building Surveyor to be part of our dynamic team. Reporting to the Building Surveyor, the incumbent will be responsible for handling maintenance of the building fabrics, plumbing and drainage of the residential towers and office tower in Island Place.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Handle maintenance of the building fabrics, plumbing and drainage of the residential towers and office tower in Island Place Assist in planning, implementing and monitoring large-scaled maintenance works and major improvement works Assist in budget preparation, recommend maintenance strategies and oversee compliance with building regulations Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the building fabrics of residential towers and office tower Supervise the contractors and in-house technicians Prepare tendering documents Identify defects and to prepare reports/records Handle customers' enquiries and complaints Plan and implement alteration and addition works, renovation works, and fitting out works Ensure all builders' works are complied with the building regulations Carry out other duties assigned by Senior Building Engineer and Building Surveyor
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in Building Surveying or related disciplines Minimum 3 years of experience of building maintenance Good communication and people management skills Fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese Good computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Project and AutoCAD Willing to attend 24-hour emergency calls
