We proudly serve Western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. We're currently looking for a motivated and dependable Survey Technician to join our team. Position Overview The Survey Technician supports the preparation, analysis, and processing of surveying data for various land development and mapping projects. This role involves both office and technical work, including research, drafting, and collaboration with field and professional staff. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, proactive, and eager to work in a dynamic, team‑focused environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Research and review legal records, deeds, plats, easements, and other property documentation. Prepare cadastral, existing‑conditions, and subdivision maps from field survey data and office records. Utilize AutoCAD Civil3D and Trimble Business Center (or similar) software to draft, annotate, and finalize survey drawings. Participate in quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with professional standards. Collaboration & Teamwork Work closely with surveyors, engineers, and other technical staff to support project goals. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure project clarity and timely completion. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's or Associate degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Geography, Geospatial Information Sciences (or a related field). Experience in land development such as residential, construction, and commercial surveying is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Trimble Business Center or comparable drafting software. Experience with GPS surveying, UAV LiDAR, and 3D laser scanning technologies is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
