• Land Survey Crew Field Technician Pay $18-22/hr, depending on experience.

Dominion Engineering is hiring full-time Survey Crew Field Technicians to assist with survey construction staking, topographic land surveying, and land boundary surveys. Our office is located in Murray, Utah.

Responsibilities include:

Survey construction staking

• Pound wooden stakes and lath into the ground with design information on them for the purpose of constructing new buildings and site improvements. Topographic survey mapping
• Collect existing topographic survey features such as existing buildings, utilities, and other information for design evaluation. Boundary line surveying
• Locate existing land survey monuments for municipalities and private landowners in cities, rural areas, and mountainous terrain, and place survey monuments on new property lines or reestablish missing survey monuments.

Equipment Used:

3-pound sledgehammer Trimble survey-grade GPS Trimble survey-grade Robotic Total Station Miscellaneous survey grade levels

Minimum Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• Must be able to use a 3-pound sledgehammer to pound survey stakes into the ground.
• 1 year of experience on a Land Survey Field Crew Familiarity with Trimble survey equipment and the Trimble Business Center office program is preferred, but not required.
