We provide accurate, detailed site surveys that help solar companies design and install systems with confidence. We pride ourselves on professionalism, communication, and delivering quality work on every project. Position Summary We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented Residential Solar Site Surveyors to join our growing team. In this role, you will travel to residential properties to perform comprehensive solar site surveys and collect the information needed for engineering and system design. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in residential solar, roofing, electrical, construction, home inspections, or other field service industries. Responsibilities Complete residential solar site surveys according to company standards. Safely access rooftops to collect measurements, photos, and roof information. Inspect electrical equipment, including main service panels and subpanels. Gather structural information from attics when accessible. Create accurate roof measurements and panel layouts. Take clear, organized photographs of all required areas. Upload completed survey documentation the same day. Communicate professionally with homeowners and represent Pure Sol Surveys in a positive manner. Maintain a clean, organized work vehicle and equipment. Follow all safety procedures while on-site. Qualifications Residential solar experience preferred. Experience in roofing, electrical, construction, HVAC, or home inspections is a plus. Comfortable working on rooftops and climbing ladders. Strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage your schedule. Reliable transportation. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Smartphone and basic computer skills. Preferred Skills Residential solar installation experience. Knowledge of electrical panels and service equipment. Experience using CompanyCam or similar documentation apps. Familiarity with roof types, structural framing, and attic inspections.
Pay:
$100.00 per hour Application Question(s): This is a 1099 independent contractor position paid per completed survey. Are you comfortable with this type of work? Do you own a smartphone capable of taking high-quality photos and using mobile apps? Do you have a reliable transportation? Do you have experience taking measurements and documenting existing conditions? Are you comfortable identifying electrical equipment such as: Main service panels Subpanels Meter locations Roof obstructions This position requires arriving on time, communicating clearly, and representing our company professionally. Can you commit to these expectations? Are you willing to travel throughout your assigned region? Approximately how many miles are you willing to travel for a survey? Are you comfortable using mobile apps to upload photos and complete checklists? Do you have all of the equipment necessary to safely perform residential solar site surveys? Such as, a extension ladder, Tape measure, flashlight, pitch meter, a luggage hand scale for tile weight, chalk, drill with a variety of bits, screwdrivers, graph paper Are you comfortable climbing ladders and walking residential rooftops?
