At Lasertech® Floorplans , we have an immediate opening available for a qualified building surveyor to join our team of independent contractors. We service clients in all 50 states, but we have a particular need in the greater Los Angeles area.

Skills required include:

Recent relevant experience in the preparation of as-built drawings, preferably using Leica laser measuring tools Knowledge and practical experience in both commercial and residential buildings Excellent communication skills, particularly in making scheduling arrangements Experience with the Windows PC environment Land surveying skills and experience can be beneficial, as these principles are built into our survey process and software Though we have an extensive footprint in the Los Angeles area, the ability to travel is highly advantageous, as we provide our services across the US. We try to offer local work as much as possible, but you will be kept much busier if you are able to travel for a week or more at a time. Pay is based on the size of the project and scope of work, and surveyors are advised of the pay for every project before acceptance. Expenses are covered and reimbursed immediately upon submittal of expense reports. We do not hold back until we are paid, we ensure our contractors are paid for their work immediately! The work involves learning and mastering our proprietary building survey software, the Lasertech® Survey ( LTS ) system, and would commence with a 2-week paid training program.
