You will play a crucial role in collecting accurate measurements and data to support our construction company and clients. Party Chief Responsibilities Lead and manage a team conducting field layout and full range of as-builts. Utilities W-S-D Earth topo etc. with well kept noted to be turned in daily. Meets and coordinates daily activities with field Superintendents and Foremen. Assigns and monitors work for survey crew members. Manages the use and maintenance of survey equipment to ensure it is in proper work condition by conducting regular inspections and calibrations. Ensures accurate collection and recording of field survey data through use of conventional GPS system and conventional

along with VR-HR Rovers. Maintains accurate field notes and survey records for future reference and project documentation. Adheres to company safety guidelines and regulations while ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required when on all jobsites; to include the use of other safety equipment following company policies and procedures. Responsible for the assigned company vehicle and survey equipment assigned to the crew; overseeing maintenance, inventory and protection. Trains crew members as needed. Requirements Ability to assign, prioritize and delegate work, read and interpret civil engineering plans, collect, calculate and analyze survey data and travel to work to different job sites as required. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees to include all departments, and other contractor representatives as needed. Strong work ethic and commitment to deliver high quality surveying.
