Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented GPS Surveyor to join our team. In this role, you will utilize advanced GPS surveying techniques and a variety of CAD and GIS software to collect, analyze, and interpret land data. Your expertise will help ensure accurate boundary delineations, topographic mapping, and construction layout. Duties Operate GPS surveying equipment, including TopCon units, for field data collection across diverse terrains Conduct boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographic mapping, and construction surveys with accuracy and attention to detail Utilize CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Carlson, and ArcGIS for drafting, data processing, and mapping projects Manage survey data collection processes, ensuring data integrity for legal descriptions and construction plans Collaborate with project managers, superintendents and surveying teams to plan survey routes and coordinate field activities Prepare detailed schematics, topographic maps, and survey reports for clients and project stakeholders Maintain and operate surveying equipment safely while adhering to industry standards and safety protocols Skills Proficiency in GPS surveying techniques and land surveying principles with experience using TopCon or similar equipment Strong knowledge of GIS applications like ArcGIS for spatial analysis and mapping Skilled in CAD software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, Revit, Carlson for drafting and project design Solid understanding of civil engineering concepts such as algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and math fundamentals relevant to surveying Experience in self-management and prioritizing on large-scale projects Ability to perform topographic mapping, boundary surveys, construction layout surveys, and schematics accurately Familiarity with legal descriptions, construction plans, surveys, and schematics preparation Excellent data collection skills with attention to detail in field surveying operations Knowledge of survey data management systems like Civil 3D or ArcGIS for efficient project workflows Strong communication and prioritizing skills Join us to be part of a forward-thinking company that values precision, innovation, and teamwork.
