Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description

Job Summary As a Field Data Technician / Drafter will ensure that all survey operations and construction activities strictly adhere to design specifications and tolerances. You will serve alongside the established TurnKey Survey Coordinator to assist with field data coordination and QA/QC tasks, helping to drive project success through technical expertise and effective communication. The established TurnKey Survey Coordinator will assist in directing your work and will serve as your immediate supervisor. Duties Access, review, and extract survey data from 3D BIM modeling for delivery to survey field crews for project site staking, preparing .dwg and .csv files as needed for stakeout. Coordinating and preparing responses to data questions posed by construction teams, often creating maps & exhibits to highlight answers. Coordinate with client data teams on daily design updates & data recalibration Work with field and remote personnel to manage project-related survey data. QA/QC design and survey data to ensure alignment with field conditions and design provided by the client, bringing any design discrepancies to their attention Maintain a log of design discrepancies and data needs. Review and assess daily design changes, ensuring that all updates are accurately interpreted and implemented. Communicate design changes and updates promptly to all relevant parties, maintaining clear documentation and records. Supervise the submission and review of daily as-built documentation, verifying the accuracy of field data, and ensuring compliance with project requirements. Experience Demonstrated field data coordination experience, preferably with data centers or other large infrastructure projects. Familiarity with BIM for large facility construction projects Expertise in Revit and other CAD-based platforms for design review and coordination. Experience with utilizing 3D designs & models for data extraction and coordination Experience developing .DWG, .DXF, and .CSV files for use in construction stakeout operations. Strong understanding of survey operations, construction tolerances, and as-built documentation processes.
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
