What they do
A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Serve as the primary field researcher, communicating professionally with clients, property owners, and site managers during site visits Perform precise field measurements, structural evaluations, and electrical assessments for interior and exterior sign installations Produce thorough survey reports and photos to guide project managers, designers, and fabrication teams Work closely with project managers, design, and fabrication crews to ensure sign builds fit field conditions perfectly Assist installation crews on-site as needed We are a rapidly growing sign company with a strong job queue and high standards of craftsmanship.
