Maverick Constructors is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Construction Surveyor to support our heavy civil and marine projects. The Surveyor will be responsible for accurate layout, field measurements, data collection, and verification of project control to ensure work is performed according to plans and specifications.Key Responsibilities:
Perform construction staking and layout for heavy civil and marine projects Establish and verify horizontal and vertical control points Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Operate total stations, GPS equipment, data collectors, and laser levels Conduct as-built surveys and verify completed work Coordinate with superintendent and foreman Ensure accuracy of grading, utilities, structural layout Maintain detailed field notes and survey documentation Assist with quantity verification and field measurements as needed Assist with loading and troubleshooting Trimble machine controlQualifications:
3+ years of construction surveying experience (construction surveying preferred) Proficient with GPS, robotic total stations, and survey data collectors Experience with Trimble GPS and data collectors Ability to read and interpret civil construction plans Strong understanding of grading, utilities, and site development High attention to detail and problem-solving skills Valid driver's license Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsPay:
