Role Summary Our Wixom, MI team is looking for a meticulous Registered Land Surveyor who is committed to excellence. You will be instrumental in project development by guaranteeing that all surveying tasks meet strict accuracy and regulatory standards. Core Duties Perform comprehensive land surveys to identify topographical details and establish property lines. Create and update precise survey records, such as maps and technical reports, to support project documentation. Leverage cutting-edge surveying tools and digital technology to capture high-quality data. Partner with architects and engineers to help ensure the successful execution of project goals. Analyze and translate legal paperwork concerning property rights and land ownership. Offer professional testimony during legal proceedings to clarify survey results. Maintain current knowledge of evolving industry standards, surveying regulations, and best practices. Required Qualifications Active Michigan Registered Land Surveyor (RLS) licensure. A four-year degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or a related discipline. Demonstrated background in the field with a deep grasp of core surveying methodologies. Skilled in operating modern surveying hardware and software, specifically CAD and GPS platforms. Strong capabilities in critical thinking and resolving complex technical issues. Effective interpersonal and communication abilities for both verbal and written tasks. Capable of performing tasks autonomously or collaborating within a team to meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
