Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Job Description Multiple locations available This is an ongoing hiring opportunity that may be filled at any of the following Kaw Valley Engineering offices: Lenexa, KS Kansas City, MO Junction City, KS Wichita, KS Emporia, KS Garden City, KS Salina, KS The successful candidate should possess the ability to work independently, as well as lead two- and three-person survey crews in the field to provide topographic and boundary surveys as well as construction staking. Calculating and recording field data is required. Qualifications A minimum of two (2) years of experience providing topographic and boundary surveys and construction staking. Experience with GPS and robotics is required. Candidates must possess either a high school diploma or GED certificate. Applicants must possess a valid driver's license.
