A Surveyor measures the surface of the Earth and collects data used to make maps, set boundaries, and determine the shape and contour of sections of land. Uses global positioning system (GPS) and global information system (GIS) technology to make measurements. May specialize in measurements to determine airspace boundaries; may conduct marine or hydrographic surveys to measure bodies of water and determine shorelines and water flow and depth.

Overview:
As a Crew Chief, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys in diverse environments. You will utilize state-of-the-art equipment, robotic surveying equipment, and a cell phone equipped with specialized apps for data collection and communication with the office.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform new home construction staking. Survey smaller residential sites. Complete topographic survey work. Complete as-built survey work. Operate robotic surveying equipment. Must have robotic experience.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school graduate/GED required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience Proficiency in operating robotic surveying equipment and GPS technology preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret surveying data accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Ability to work independently. Residential construction experience is highly preferred. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Commitment to upholding ethical standards and legal regulations governing land surveying practices.
