In this role, you will be responsible for conducting precise land measurements, interpreting technical drawings, and supporting construction projects through accurate surveying practices. Your expertise will help ensure the successful planning and execution of our civil infrastructure projects. Duties Conduct land surveys using specialized equipment to determine property boundaries and topographical features Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project development Implement erosion control measures and ensure compliance with environmental regulations during surveying activities Operate and maintain survey equipment, including total stations, GPS devices, and levels, ensuring proper calibration and repairs when needed Assist in the implementation of OSHA safety standards and adhere to workplace safety regulations at all times Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of equipment or materials safely within construction sites Climb structures or terrain as required to gather survey data or inspect sites, utilizing appropriate safety gear such as respiratory protection when necessary Requirements Proven experience in industrial construction or civil surveying environments with a strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations Ability to read blueprints, interpret technical drawings, and understand construction plans thoroughly Mechanical knowledge related to survey equipment repair and maintenance Familiarity with erosion control techniques and environmental safety practices during site work Knowledge of OSHA safety standards, including respiratory protection, heavy lifting protocols, climbing safety, and manual handling procedures Strong understanding of construction safety regulations and the implementation of safety measures on-site Ability to operate power tools safely and effectively in a construction setting Join our team to contribute your surveying expertise in a fast-paced environment where safety, precision, and teamwork drive success!
