Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a Land Surveyor to join our team. You will be responsible for conducting precise field surveys, utilizing advanced digital survey tools, and preparing accurate mapping and reporting documentation. Duties Perform field surveying using GPS surveying techniques, leveling surveying methods, and digital survey tools to collect accurate spatial data. Capture detailed field mapping through photography and document site conditions for project records. Prepare comprehensive survey reports, maintain databases, and ensure all documentation aligns with project specifications. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design), AutoCAD, MicroStation, and ArcGIS for drafting, mapping, and data analysis tasks. Support construction surveys by setting out boundaries, verifying elevations, and ensuring alignment with engineering plans. Qualifications Proven experience in land surveying or civil engineering projects with knowledge of construction experience preferred. Proficiency in GPS surveying, GIS (Geographic Information Systems), LiDAR surveys, MicroStation, AutoCAD, and Drafting software. Strong understanding of field surveying techniques including leveling surveying technique and use of digital survey tools. Ability to operate mobile devices effectively for data collection and report preparation. Familiarity with databases, spreadsheets, and report writing to document survey findings clearly. Valid driver's license with experience operating standard passenger cars on local routes safely. Excellent attention to detail combined with strong communication skills for report writing and team collaboration.
Pay:
$22.00 - $28.00 per hour
