The Manager, Licensing Oversight Bureau will: Manage survey and administrative functions of the Licensed Oversight Bureau survey teams. How does it get done? The Manager, Licensing Oversight Bureau is responsible for: Developing survey schedules within state guidelines; Ensuring surveys are completed within necessary time frames; Coordinating the investigation of complaints; Reviewing the statement of deficiencies for accuracy, correlation to regulations, and defensibility; Ensuring completion of survey workload and process; Providing effective supervision of bureau staff. Who are the customers? Healthcare Surveyors and Supervisors; Long Term Care providers; New Mexico residents receiving healthcare services. Ideal Candidate Healthcare Surveyors and Supervisors; Long Term Care providers; New Mexico residents receiving healthcare services. Minimum Qualification Bachelor's Degree in any field of study from an accredited college or university and four (4) years of professional-level experience with a tactical impact directly related to the purpose of the position defined by the agency at the time of recruitment. Any combination of education from an accredited college or university and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling eight (8) years may substitute for the required education and experience. A hiring agency will designate a portion of the required experience to include supervisory and/or specialized experience. Any required licensure, certification or registration shall be defined at the time of recruitment and will be in addition to the above requirements. Employment Requirements Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License. Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate. Working Conditions Work is performed in an office setting and in long term care facilities with phone and extensive computer usage. Some sitting, standing, walking, stooping, bending reaching and lifting up to twenty (20) pounds may be required. In-state travel with frequent overnight stays averaging one week at a time, is required. Some out-of-pocket expense with reimbursement is required.
